What is NDIT?
Often, talk therapy alone doesn’t work well because the emotional centers of our brains are just too sensitive and in control of our experience, and the thinking areas of our brain don’t work as well.
Neural Desensitization and Integration Training (NDIT) is a method developed by Dr. Jennifer Sweeton to treat concerns related to stress response in the brain, like anxiety, panic, and PTSD. Treatment focuses first on bottom-up/body-focused techniques to calm hypersensitive stress response so that we can move to doing thinking work and exposure work with more comfort and success.
